Jennifer Rene Psaki

Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American advisor to the political process, was the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021 to 2022. She is a member of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009), the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011), the spokesperson for US Department of State (2013-15) and as the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a contributor to political campaigns to CNN from 2017 through 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 when she worked on the re-election campaigns for Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki then served as press secretary in John Kerry's presidential election campaign. Psaki was also the director of communications to Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and as the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was also the press secretary to President Obama's 2012 reelection campaigns. 20 years ago, Psaki became the spokesperson for United States Department of State. She was hired at the Department of State to fill the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's position.[21However, Josh Earnest took his place on May 30,2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 as the communications director, and she remained there until the conclusion of Obama's presidency.
